Finding Our Vibe

After the pandemic swept through Boston, it was a huge blow to the city's (let's face it) already lackluster dining and nightlife. A lot of our favorite spots had to close down for good. Despite being locals, we had to basically start from scratch exploring the new landscape.

We decided to take the opportunity to explore things that hadn't been on our radar before; hidden gems that spoke to us, spots with personality, instead of the usual suspects. It made us realize that we don't care how many stars a place has. We care about the vibes. The energy. The Atmosphere.

We tried scrolling through "best of" lists. We tried getting fancy with keywords on maps and review websites. We even tried doomscrolling social media posts to find something recommended by influencers. But nothing really cut through the noise to find the kinds of places we wanted to try. So we built an app for it.

Atmosphere is made to rethink the way you plan or discover your perfect night out. We're keeping it local for now, because we know we can count on your honest feedback to help our nightlife scene suck just a little bit less. We couldn't do it without you, Boston. Have fun finding your vibe!
